Changing the saying to “feeding two birds with one scone”

Taught my daughter this yesterday and we both agreed that this is SO MUCH BETTER. This is another Rec League gift. Now I’m thinking of all the idioms that could use an upgrade.

My dear friend Maria said this to me over a decade ago and it split my life into two eras of before and after using “killing two birds with one stone.” The more I use this new version, the more I realize how violent the typical saying is and i get a little hit of dopamine when I think of feeding a scone to two cute birds.
